CNE on “Ketogenic diet and its application in Clinical Practice”

Indian Dietetic Association, Pune Chapter has organised CNE on “Ketogenic diet and its application in Clinical Practice” on Saturday, 22nd June 2019 at Deenanath Mangeshkar Hospital and Research Centre, Pune.

 

Paediatric Neurologist at Deenanath Mangeshkar Hospital, Dr. Umesh Kaane, DNB (Gold Medalist), DCH, talked about “Ketogenic diet in Epilepsy”.

 

Ketogenic Dietitian, Ms. Archana Rairikar talked about “Ketogenic diet and its therapeutic use in neurological and other medical conditions”.

 

Ms Samiksha V Chordiya from D. Y. Patil Hospital presented case study on “Standard Ketogenic diet for epilepsy.”

 

Ms. Shilpa Shirole, Convener, IDA Pune Chapter and other members of IDA were present for the CNE. Program was well attended by many doctors and dietitions within Pune.

 

Mrs. Ambika Nair, Co- Convenor of IDA Pune Chapter, gave the welcome address, made some announcements about the forthcoming CNE in July and August. She is RD Representative Felicitated the 3 students who cleared RD this year.

 

She being the Editor in Chief of IDA Newsletter also announced the Release of IDA Newsletter.

 

The event was ended with LEC member Mrs. Avanti Deshpande, who gave the vote of thanks
